LAKE CX176 ROAD SHOES
Lake's CX176 road shoes are a great-value option that are packed with performance features. The CX/TX Sport last is supportive and comfortable enough to prevent hot spots and numbness even when you're pedalling for hours. The toe box offers a snug fit and the shoes have a high arch and mid-width ball girth. Action leather, microfibre and mesh make up the upper for top breathability and an element of water resistance.
A Lake Competition fibreglass-injected nylon outsole is stiff enough to transfer your watts efficiently and the sole is compatible with all the main three-hole road cleats. Closure via a single Boa dial and velcro powerstrap ensures even pressure distribution and the ability to make micro-adjustments to the fit mid-ride.

Take your foot measurement in a standing position while wearing your cycling socks.
Step 1: Trace your foot onto a sheet of paper. After you trace your foot take a ruler and make a line to mark the furthest point on all four sides as shown below.
Step 2: Length measurement (Points 1 to 2 as shown below). Use a millimeter ruler to get the measurement of the longest distance from heel to longest toe (first or second toe).
Step 3: Width measurement (Points 3 to 4 as shown below). Use a millimeter ruler to get the measurement of the widest distance of foot from side to side.
Step 4: Repeat steps for other foot as your feet may be different sizes. Typically you will want shoes that accommodate your largest foot the most comfortably.
*Add 5mm to your measured length to get correct shoe length.
